Aunt Adele's Swedish Pancakes
1 cup of flour
1 cup of milk
3 eggs.Mix ingredients together and pour into a round pan that has been buttered. Cook and when sides begin to curl up, turn to cook on other side. Spread jelly on top and roll up.
Robin's Broccoli Casserole
1 family size bag of frozen broccoli
1 bag Success rice
1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
1 small box Velveeta cheese
1 can Durkees fried onionsCook the rice and the broccoli. Mix the rice, broccoli, soup and diced cheese in a casserole dish. Sprinkle the fried onions over. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Broccoli and Cheese Soup (100 servings)
6 bags cream soup base
6 gallons of water
2 tsp. white pepper
6 oz. chicken base
24 gts broccoli flouerettes
2-5 lbs shredded Velveeta cheese
Alysia's Banana Pudding
2 boxes of Instant French Vanilla Pudding
3 cups of milk
1 large carton of Cool Whip
1 can of Eagle brand Sweetened Condensed MilkMix with an electric mixer
Layer with vanilla wafers and bananas.
Pan Seared Rib Eye
1 boneless rib eye stead (1-1/2 inch thick)
Canola oil
Kosher salt and ground black pepperBring steak to room temperature. Place 10-12 inch cast iron skillet in oven and heat oven to 500 degrees. When oven reaches temperature, remove pan and place on range over high heat. Coat steak lightly with oil and season both sides with a generous pinch of salt. Grind on black pepper to taste.
Immediately place steak in the middle of hot, dry pan. Cook 30 seconds without moving. Turn with tongs and cook another 30 seconds, then put the pan straight into the oven for 2 minutes. Flip steak and cook for another 2 minutes. (This time is for medium rare steaks. If you prefer medium, add a minute to both of the oven turns.)
Remove steak from pan, cover loosely with foil, and rest for 2 minutes. Serve whole or slice thin and fan onto plate.
