Avalanche Creek squeezes through a narrow gorge below
Avalanche Lake, near the Trail of the Cedars east of
Lake McDonald Lodge. Located in Montana, Glacier
National Park was named for the glaciers that carved,
sculpted, and formed this spectacular landscape
millions of years ago.
