Also known as the Nubble Light, the Cape Neddick Lighthouse in York, Maine,
stands near the entrance to the York River at the Atlantic Ocean. The
lighthouse was built and established in 1879 and automated in 1987. It is
constructed of cast iron lined with brick and is 41 feet high (focal plane
of 88 feet).
